Yes, it is live for iOS and Android. Alongside the map, the app has the fishing log, the community feed and notifications; work on the web side continues as well. Catch logging, photos and comments are in the app.

Where does the weather and sea data come from, and how often is it updated?

Wind, wave, water temperature and current data come from Open-Meteo; the collection job runs every three hours. The age of the value you see on the map is written in the interface — it is a forecast, so no claim of certainty is made.

Can I use the map for navigation at sea?

No. This map cannot be used for navigation. The depth data comes from EMODnet's roughly 230-metre grid: it shows the deeps offshore, not the rock 30 metres off the shore. It is no substitute for official nautical charts.

How many fish species are there, and do they all carry the same information?

The catalog holds 350 species; 53 of them are protected and closed to fishing. Bait, technique and season data is not there for every species — we write plainly on the species page which ones have it, and we do not fill a missing section with an empty box.

Where do the fishing grounds come from?

The map holds 14.430 coastal fishing grounds on record, linked to 272 species; the records are curated by hand. Beyond those, 2.089 inland water points (dams, lakes, ponds, rivers) appear on the map — these were derived from open-source water data, have not been gone over yet, and have no pages of their own.

Is the minimum size and closed season information binding?

The site holds 401 regulation records, each of them taken from a communiqué of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. We do not summarize the texts; beside every record stand its legal basis (article and table number) and the link to the official source. What binds is the official publication.

Do you collect my location?

The website does not ask for location permission. The mobile app uses your location only while you have it open and only if you give permission: to show where you are on the map, and to attach a location to a catch log. Your location is not tracked in the background. When you share the location of a catch log you pick one of exact point, approximate point or not shown at all — the default is hidden.

Who can see a catch log I share?

You decide. Every catch log is saved with one of three visibilities: only you, the people you follow, or everyone. The default is only you. The visibility of the location is a separate setting: even if you share the log, you can keep the point hidden or show it approximately.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete it in the mobile app from Profile › Account; the action cannot be undone. Your account and your content are closed to access, your profile photo is removed from disk immediately and your catch photos within thirty days at the latest; your likes, follows, notifications and comments are permanently deleted. I saw inappropriate content — what should I do?

In the mobile app you can report any catch log, comment or user. Reports are reviewed by a person; there is no automatic removal. You can block the user too if you want — blocking cuts interaction both ways.
